Join the debate as South Ribble launches its new My Place forum
South Ribble Borough Council has launched a brand new interactive discussion forum on its website which allows residents to log on and discuss local issues.
The new discussion forum is part of the community pride campaign My PLACE, which encourages residents to take pride in their local area, community and environment.
Residents can use the discussion forums to comment on topics that are relevant to their area and suggest future discussion topics to prompt debate.
These topics can range from a local issue important to a specific area or a wider issue that affects the whole of South Ribble.
Councillor Michael Green cabinet member with responsibility for Corporate and Support Services said:
"South Ribble has award winning parks, fantastic new play areas, great schools, investment being made in regeneration with the Renewal4 project and a council that has recently been declared 'excellent' by the Comprehensive Performance Auditors."
He added: "We are keen to hear residents' views about what makes them proud to live in their neighbourhood and what would make them even prouder.
