Redundancy advice

In light of the economic downturn the council has joined forces with several partners to form a Redundancy Task Force, which aims to support people who are made redundant or facing redundancy.

The Task Force brings together expertise from South Ribble and Chorley councils, Runshaw College, Preston College, Lancashire College, Business Venture Group, Jobcentre Plus, the Learning & Skills Council and training providers CXL and TWL UK.

Collectively, these organisations have pledged to ensure that people have the information they need about claiming benefits, finding work, updating their CV, accessing qualifications and training, tackling debt or starting a business.
