Environment and planning

The environment is probably the most important thing we have and the council is committed to conserving and promoting it.

People have told us that the environment is one of their priorities. They want a good waste collection and recycling services and high quality parks and open spaces.

This section of our website provides information about the work we are doing to conserve and protect the environment in South Ribble, including helping you recycle your household waste, continuing to make improvements in our parks and delivering quality planning and building control services.

Select from the menu on the right to find out more about our waste collection and recycling, parks and open spaces, planning and environmental health services.
