South Ribble Borough Council in conjunction with South Lancashire Home Improvement Agency undertakes disabled facilities grants for disabled people of all ages.

South Ribble Borough Council is no longer a stock holding authority having transfered its council housing stock in October 1994 to New Progress Housing Association.

The Council does not have many homes in multiple occupation but does have a rolling programme to inspect all private rented properties.

South Ribble Independent Housingadvice service offers free, impartial, confidential advice and assistance to all residents of the borough on all matters relating to housing.

The council has no housing stock as it was transferred to New progress Housing association in 1994.

The Tenant Services Authority is the new regulator for affordable housing. They believe housing matters, and that access to good quality housing improves lives.
