Partnerships

The council works in partnership with a number of others to provide quality services across South Ribble.

Working in partnership brings a number of benefits for customers. It means information and resources can be shared, work is less likely to be duplicated and organisations know what others are doing around them and why.

Partnership working is integral to providing linked up services for customers. It's important that the service providers like the council, the NHS, the police, the community , voluntary and faith sectors, the business community and other councils are in touch with each other.

Every area of the UK has a local strategic partnership, and ours is called the South Ribble Partnership.

The South Ribble Partnership is made up of over 40 different organisations - private companies, public bodies, voluntary organisations and community groups. Their aim is to work together for the benefit of South Ribble and everyone who lives or works here.

Our Community Strategy

South Ribble Partnership has developed a Community Strategy for South Ribble - an action plan to promote the economic, environmental and social wellbeing of the area.
