Sports pitches and courts

The council provides a range of sports pitches across the borough for the games of rugby league and association football. This page provides information as to whether the pitches are playable and who to contact if your team would like to play on one of South Ribble's pitches.

There are a number of sports pitches within South Ribble's parks and open spaces, however, these are not currently available on a 'pay and play' basis.  If you have a team that would like to play either football or rugby within the borough you will need to contact one of the league representatives below.

It is recommended that you contact the league representatives by the end of June in order to be allocated a pitch in time for the start of the season in September.

South Ribble sports pitches for Saturday 01/05/10 and Sunday 02/05/10 are ON, subject to pre match inspection by the match officials.

Parking restrictions are in force at Worden Park, Leyland.  For further information click here.
