Collecting your green boxes

Household waste - collection

South Ribble Borough Council provides a collection for household waste in the following containers:

 A blue bag is provided for paper

2 x green boxes for glass, cans, card, textiles and plastic bottles.

A brown wheeled bin is provided for garden waste

A grey wheeled bin for all non recyclable waste.

Collections take place on a fortnightly basis, see your collection calendar for the correct week.

All containers must be presented to the edge of your property for collection, this is at the edge of your drive, shared drive, service strip or designated collection point. Any excess waste should be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre on Flensburgh Way. Excess waste will not be removed with your general waste collection.
